Deposits and Payments: All deposits and payments are non-refundable unless otherwise specified. Please refer to each travel supplier's (airline, cruise line, tour company, insurance company, etc.) cancellation policies as they will vary.
Errors and Omissions by Esteem Journeys LLC: For your protection and to support your travel investment, Esteem Journeys LLC/Amber Betts carries Errors and Omissions liability insurance. Should we make an error or omit a crucial detail that results in a financial penalty we will take responsibility. We do however require that you confirm all details of your vacation including, but not limited to: the spelling of names, travel dates, travel cities, pricing and other details prior to making your deposit. Making your deposit confirms that you have reviewed all emails, invoices, documents and correspondence and agree that your vacation details are correct. Esteem Journeys LLC is not responsible for errors or omissions once your trip is confirmed.
Rules of Travel Suppliers and Governments: We have no responsibility for COVID-19-related requirements that travel suppliers and governments may impose from time to time, such as health affidavit forms, health screenings prior to departure or upon arrival, face coverings, or quarantines. For the latest COVID-19 government travel regulations, we recommend going to IATA’s website at https://www.iatatravelcentre.com/international-travel-document-news/1580226297.htm. For the latest travel supplier requirements, check the supplier’s home page.
Financial Condition of Travel Suppliers: We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of travel suppliers or their failure to adhere to their own schedules, provide services or refunds, financial default, or failure to honor future trip credits. We have no special knowledge regarding the financial condition of the suppliers, and we accept no liability for recommending a trip credit in lieu of a refund.
Re-booking: If requested, we will assist with obtaining any refunds due or re-booking trips using future credits. If you have booked your trip prior to Aug 10, 2020 we will charge a non-refundable fee for such services. If you have booked after Aug 10, 2020 your booking fee/cancellation fee becomes non-refundable when you cancel/rebook. The fee is reimbursed AFTER you return from your new trip. If you do not re-book or travel, the fee is non-refundable.
Travel Protection Insurance: For your protection, we strongly recommend that you purchase a travel protection insurance policy that includes both trip cancellation and travel accident coverage. Please note that, unless you buy a cancel-for-any-reason policy, most policies have a specific clause stating they do not cover epidemics and pandemics, especially when travel warnings are in place. No representation or description of the insurance made by our staff constitutes a binding assurance or promise about the insurance. You agree to hold us harmless for your election not to purchase travel insurance or for any denial of claim by travel insurer as it relates to COVID-19 or any other claim under the policy. Most policies also do not cover travel alerts or prohibitions by any government. PLEASE REFER TO YOUR POLICY'S GENERAL EXCLUSIONS SO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT IS AND WHAT IS NOT COVERED.
